5 aspects of happiness and fulfillment (part 1)

Intro

What are happiness and fulfillment? Start by asking this question.

Many people say it is an inner thing. But to experience it, it also has to be connected with our external life. We cannot be internally happy and fulfilled while having a million and one problems in our outer life. It would mean that our external life has no meaning or purpose. Many people make this mistake, but if we want to be realistic, our outer and inner life is practically one experience, and one is the mirror of the other.

When was the last time you felt that you were living
your life to the fullest? This feeling of "WOW man... what a life!"

Are you still desperately trying to figure out how to do that?
If that is the case, you are not alone.

Unfortunately, maybe the majority out there end up living their life without experiencing what life has to offer. It is not that they are unlucky. It is not that they were born in an unfavorable place and time. It is not the government, their parents, their education (actually, education and upbringing play a huge role, but here, we need to understand that we should not use this as an excuse to avoid seeing the truth), or their spouse.

So how can we practically solve this?

Regardless of our career, life, business, or relationship, developing habits essential to a happy life and directing our action toward fulfillment is possible and crucial. Maybe it will seem unreal to you, but my experience as a spiritual teacher, shaman & healer for 23 years showed me something. Most experience the life they experience due to the habits they have developed. Maybe you do not want to call them habits, or it hurts you to accept that we are creatures of habit (essentially, we are not). Still, the way we have learned is the way of habit formation and not developing consciousness.

So we are already educated this way... like it or not!
That's the problem.

Adapting to a change in lifestyle and following a new habitual routine is fundamental to achieving happiness and satisfaction in the long run and turning around our education and upbringing.
Habit formation is not easy, but you will eventually succeed if you maintain consistency in everything you do.

I have researched and noticed the consistent patterns that happy and prosperous people follow. They practice daily habits which keep them motivated and lead to higher productivity, happiness, and fulfillment. They do so because they understand that they must undo their programmed habitual ways. The five essential aspects discussed below are simple (but not easy). They can help you effortlessly achieve happiness and fulfillment in life if understood well.

Essential Aspect #1: Make Exercise A Regular Habit

Exercising regularly is a vital habit that leads to happiness and fulfillment. It does not necessarily have to be engaging in powerlifting, triathlon, or becoming a professional-level athlete. It is about doing a lightly arduous activity to overcome your body's conditioning. Exercise brings more oxygen to your blood, activates vitality, and strengthens your body and inner state.

Do you really need it?

YES!
Why?
Because if we won't do it, the habit we all adopt in the modern world will mathematically lead us to inertia, tiredness, and physical weakness in the long run. And trust me, when you arrive there, it will be too late and hurt too much. The bad habit of society does not bring your energy and your body down fast but slowly so we do not notice it until it is too late to do something about it (or maybe not too late but too hard)

Regardless of what kind of sport you do, it will benefit you as long as you do it regularly (because, remember, what you essentially need to do is break the old habit)
Make a program for your workout and make a commitment to stick to it no matter what.

Target an hour of exercise at least 3 times weekly to achieve the minimum results (5 times for optimum). Remember, you are likely to stick to something you enjoy doing more. You're not limited to the typical working out at the gym or strapping on jogging shoes.

Therefore, allow yourself to look for something you enjoy doing that suits your lifestyle and preferences better. For instance, you could participate in a dance class, play basketball in your neighborhood, walk in nature, swim, join a community sports league, play tennis, jog with your dog, hike, ride a bike, or do yoga in the park.

If you are having difficulty finding an activity you enjoy, recall back to when you were a kid. What sports or games did you enjoy playing?
